Unfortunately there’s nothing that can be done to solve the problem, the Express reports. “You can continue to use ITV Hub on your device for now, but after this time the ITV Hub app will no longer be updated or available on some devices.” Unfortunately this technology is not supported by some device models and will no longer be compatible after the end of September 2022. “A significant part of this involves updating our content protection to keep all our shows copyright-safe. ITV said: “At ITV Hub, we’re making some changes to our app. Also impacted are some Panasonic televisions, together with certain Humax freeview recorders. This means it will be not longer compatible with some older devices - including all Samsung smart TVs which were made before 2015. The ITV Hub player is about to be replaced and fully upgraded by a new service called ITVX. ![]() ![]() ITV fans with certain television or Freeview devices will soon discover streaming services will no longer work for them, it has been revealed.
